You decorate an unfortunate tree that’s been dragged inside your centrally heated home, send greetings cards to people you spend the entire year avoiding, lie to your children about a fat man dressed in red who climbs down chimneys, and pursue your colleagues around the office waving mistletoe while wearing a ridiculous jumper.
